Care Assistant - salary starting from £6.70/hr - £9.70/hr (overtime pay)

 

We are working on behalf of our client who is urgently seeking care assistant to work in a lovely care facility in Daventry.

 

Roles and responsibilities include:

•Providing personal and social care to each individual clients,

• Ensuring that each client is supported in safe environment and that the highest standards of care are provided,

•To assist senior care staff working with other agencies and professionals ensuring full provision of individual resident’s care

•Provide ongoing monitoring, support and assessment of residents’ physical and physiological and social needs

•To relate to relatives and carers with empathy 

•Serve meals and supervise and assist residents eating reporting untoward incidents and poor dietary intake to the Nurse in Charge

•To undertake such other duties as may be mutually determined from time to time.

In return you will receive:

•Full time  38.5 hour contract - regular shift rota

•Training and ongoing development 

•Starting  salary from £6.70/hour  + extra  £3.00/hr for overtime

•Holiday Pay

Live in Care Assistant

We are currently looking for a live in care assistant for a lovely 88 years old lady in Kent.  

Duties will include:

  • General care (including basic personal care needs)
  • Assistance with driving
  • Assistance with booking appointments and driving to doctor / dentist
  • Housework - cleaning & ironing
  • Errands to pick up shopping & chemist prescriptions etc
  • Shopping
  • Cooking and food preparation
  • Dog-walking if necessary

We are seeking kind, sensitive, mature person who is willing to commit long term to care for our client. You must be kind, responsible, non smoker, drive, enjoy animals and speak English.

In return our client will offer:
